The event will include an introduction from the BBSRC to the proposed new research club and explanation of its likely mechanisms, as well as presentations of relevant themes of research.
The event, to be held in the Clinical Ageing Research Unit at the Campus for Ageing and Vitality in Newcastle, from 10am, will be an opportunity to hear about this potential new funding mechanism and to meet potential collaborators from the region. Attendance will be free, but as lunch will be provided, attendees are requested to register in advance by e-mail to sarah.armstrong2@ncl.ac.uk
