Mesoscale Discovery technology offers multiplex biomarker detection based on electrochemiluminescence and surface patterned arrays. Assays are highly sensitive (e.g. low pg/ml for TNF-a), have wide dynamic range (usually 2-3 logs greater than standard ELISA's), use reduced sample volumes (typically 25ul in 96-well), are compatible with complex matrices (e.g. Serum, plasma, tissue homogenate) and are complete in a morning. We can multiplex up to 10 analytes/well in 96-well,plate read time is just three minutes, regardless of spot density. Our instrumentation has no fluidics, is very robust, requires no calibration, and can be fully automated if required.
